Introduction to Basic Small Engine Class
The Basic Small Engine Introduction class will teach the student how to identify the various critical parts on a small engine and state the theory of operation behind each part.

The student will learn how to disassemble a small engine and reassemble with special tools such as beam and click type torque wrenches, piston ring compressor, valve spring compressor and other special tools.
The class ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours at a time. Classes start Monday and end on Friday.
On Monday the class focuses on the general theory of operation. On Tuesday and Wednesday, the class discusses the engine block and cylinder head. On Thursday, the class will reassemble to engine and discuss the carburetor and exhaust system. On Friday, the student will take a short test and wrap up the class with engine running demonstrations and final thoughts.

Basic Small Engines Introduction: $30 per seat (2 seats max)
Advanced Small Engine Class
The Advanced Small Engine class will teach the student how to completely rebuild a small engine, the engine runs before class starts and it should run by the time the student rebuilds it.
The Basic Small Engine Introduction class is a prerequisite for this class as the student will need the knowledge gained in the introductory class to successfully rebuild a small engine with confidence.
The class starts Monday and ends on Friday. It will take between 2 to 3 hours per day to both learn about the operation and disassembly/reassembly.
The student is not required to take a test on the final day.
Advanced Small Engines: $40 per seat (1 student per week max) +$150 for a training engine. The student keeps this engine.
